William P. Lorenz, founder of Educators First Financial, is a seasoned veteran of the financial services industry with a BS in Finance and Economics from Kutztown University. He earned his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA in 2002 and 2012, respectively. These marks of excellence represent more than 850 combined hours of study in key financial disciplines, including insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments, and estate planning.

While he helps people of all professions, Bill’s expertise has been in working with educators since 1992. His in-depth knowledge of PSERS and SERS has enabled him to help hundreds of teachers and state employees successfully plan for their futures and realize their retirement goals.

In the spring of 2017, Bill qualified for his 15th ACE (Achieving Client Excellence) award with Signator Investors, Inc., and was inducted into John Hancock’s coveted Hall of Fame.

William Sullivan is the newest associate at Educators First Financial! He graduated Cum Laude from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Prior to joining EFFPA in the spring of 2017, he was a Financial Advisor with PNC Investments.

Bill has successfully passed securities registration examinations for the Series 7 and 66. To maintain these registrations, he completes FINRA continuing education courses every three years and Signator’s continuing education courses annually. He also holds his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license.

Bill’s character exemplifies the traits that are a part of EFFPA’s higher standards… integrity, courtesy, and the desire to do what is in the client’s best interest at all times. That, combined with his experience in the financial services industry, and expertise in working with 401k plans, will further enhance the services and exceptional level of client care that EFFPA has become known for.

Melissa (Missy) is responsible for managing the behind-the-scenes operations of Educators First Financial as Chief Operations Officer. She ensures that all planning and prioritizing continue to align with EFFPA’s goals, while implementing systems and services that bring the most value to our clients.

With over 25 years’ experience in the graphic design industry, Missy also serves as the firm’s Marketing Specialist, keeping track of industry trends in an effort to provide EFFPA’s clients with important information in a timely and interesting fashion.

As Vice President of Client Happiness, Missy works with the team to ensure that the attention and care our clients receive is worthy of an A+, every time.  :)

Pam has become an invaluable part of (y)our team since she joined Educators First Financial in the fall of 2013 as our Administrative Assistant. In a few short years, she helped to create and implement systems that keep our firm running smoothly.

Now our Executive Assistant, Pam assists our clients with scheduling, correspondence, and service work. Her strong organizational skills help to support the entire EFFPA team, maximizing our efficiency as a firm. With degrees in psychology and school counseling, Pam brings a unique perspective to EFFPA, relating to educators with ease.
